Refresher Programs
Standard First Aid Refresher (SFA-R)
1 Day skill refresher with updated Health Care Provider CPR (New 2007 Guidelines) and AED Certification.
The refresher program provides you the privilege of renewing your first aid status for a 3 year period in a 1 day format. However, to accomplish this:
You must provide a copy of your current Standard First Aid Certificate with your registration
Certificate MUST still be valid
All refresher students will be required to remain approx. 1 hour at the end of the class to complete the skill component
The onus in on you to review content material: IE medical conditions, burns, splinting & poisoning, from your previous first aid manual as you will be required to complete a 50 question written exam on all content.
We do provide a
manual, which is a condensed manual, and incorporates
only new and/or updated items.
You must provide a copy of your current Standard First Aid Certification with your registration. If your card has expired you are required by Workplace Health and Safety Legislation to complete the full Standard First Aid Program.
PLEASE NOTE: You should bring your Standard First Aid Book to class with your as you will only be provided with a Health Care Provider CPR update document.
You may purchase a new Standard First Aid Manual at a cost of $20.000 (+GST ) please see the Registration department when you sign in or call the office at 403-571-7655 to order one with your program and it will be ready for pick up when you come to class.
